  Been visiting the london inn for a few years now. Food is consistently good quality, hearty meals with generous portions and always scrummy tasty. They keep some nice local beers and ciders and the pub is definitely a proper hub of the village pub. It well deserves it's reputation as a friendly pub with cracking food.
  
  and if something's going on around the village, the london inn is the place to ask about it, if Vera doesn't know about it it probably didn't really happen :)
  
  They also host the village post office which visits in a van on Tuesday lunchtimes. They also hosted the village produce market in their car park until it got big enough to move indoors to the village hall.

  You have to visit this fantastic pub to appreciate the friendship of the staff, and quality of the food, been going there for several years now, and always take our visiting friends for a meal never to be forgotten, the landlady cant be a day over twenty one,to keep going flat out all day, good work Vera,
